Sharon's forceful relocation of Israelis

The Allies of WWII supported the establishment of Israel for the Jews, in consideration of the Holocaust. Jews who survived that indescribable crime know all too well, the meaning of it all.

In that light, alone, the ancient history of the Jews should take a back seat as a basis for extending beyond Israel's original borders onto lands occupied by the Palestinians.

The one exception to Israel's extending beyond those original borders is the Golan Heights. This is because of their strategic military advantage, as was used by Syria to kill so many innocent Jews. Hence, it must be kept, simply in defense of the State and its citizens.

The rest of the occupied land should be returned in the name of Shalom for all involved. Who, better than the Jew, should know the pain of loss?
