FOURTH GENEVA CONVENTION GOVERNSReader comment on item: Ariel Sharon's Folly Submitted by Bob (United States), Jan 27, 2006 at 15:59 Dear Yonason-"eminent domain" has nothing to do with this- Its an International matter- The 4th Geneva Convention applies and covers this situation. Because Israel entered the 1967 WAR in defense of its self, ie, did not start this war, it is "disputed territory." Israel's right to the WB and Gaza and East Jerusalem(annexed already by Israel) "Has no less a claim to the lands it conquered than Palestinians, or any other party."= Gov't of Israel's position. Check it out. Bob Breslauer Milwaukee Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
