The least we can say is that Bush's administration is strongly helping. Rice proposes financial aid for "rebuilding Gaza" while Bush demands a "full stop" of the settlement expansion.

The project makes sense only if it is grounded on a profound will for peace, and while this sure is the wish of a majority of the people at large, you have to severely blind yourself for believing in it in the present Middle-East.

That action is weakening Israel, and only a strong Israel can survive, let alone support peace.
