Dear Mr. Pipes,

I share some of your concerns re: the Gaza withdrawal. I can only hope it gives the Israelis more opportunity and leverage to retain larger tracts of the more desirable Judea/ Samaria.

With the Palestinians so radicalized, numerous, and arming with more advanced weapons, is it not more practical to abandon such an untenable and exposed position? Remember Egypt did not want Gaza back with the Sinai accord.
