The Threat of Redefining Terms

Reader comment on item: Palestinian Word Games

Submitted by Darwin Barrett (United States), Jan 4, 2005 at 11:50

The totalitarian anti-capitalists use freedom of speech to gain control of their opposition.
In Totalitarian terms: Peace is "lack of opposition", Capitalists are "Nazis", Communists and Socialists are "Democrats", Equality and Social Justice equals Redistribution, and anyone opposed to their cause is described with an endless list of expletives. The media is on their bandwagon because conflict and the appearance of injustice sells. It is time for the pendulum to swing against them. Remember the term "Survival of the fittest"? It is not "Survival of the Apathetic". If we choose to sit by and allow the totalitarian socialists and Islamists to drive the evolution of humanity, then we deserve what we get. Picture 1000 years of a world dominated by an Islamic Theocracy.
