With the intelligence of those who put commenter Walter S. down, who needs stupidity? Reader comment on item: Palestinian Word Games

In this world of "perception is reality," I wonder just how much we need to know before we can ask pointed questions and get serious answers. I disagree with commenter Walter on only one thing: Comments like "shut up and mind your own business" do not apply to inquiries about how to alleviate Israel's desperate situation, and are uncalled-for, unfair, and unhelpful, no matter how moderate the tone. People who get to meet with Israeli ambassadors anywhere are important stakeholders on issues like effective Israeli PR, no matter how little they know; Walter should not have had to endure such treatment. In fact, no true friend of Israel should.
All Jews everywhere are stakeholders here, as well as our friends. None of our questions should be dismissed, no matter how ignorant we are; we are all affected. We deserve to know, and it would help those of us with superior communications skills put out better PR. Knowledge is still power.
Got that, Houston?
