Burka and Niqab may be for a good reason but ...

Dear Dr Pipes:

The apologists will provide many explanations and apologies and tell us that the plight of women in Islam is deeply misunderstood, but most logical way to explain burqa and niqab is that it makes a women look less beautiful and thus less of a threat to the man who wants to control her. If you want to get a fourth wife, the more hidden the first three are, the better. Isn't it?
