Oh great Catholic....

Reader comment on item: Niqabs and Burqas as Security Threats
in response to reader comment: Ban the Burqa

So are you opposed to those great Catholic Nuns who wear very similar clothing to Muslim Women the ones you are pointed towards .... so is it banned for them too?

What do you think the dress of Mary - Mother of Jesus was? How come you are a Catholic and not follow in the foot-step of either Christ or Mary?

No one can be forced to follow what you want them to follow - or should they be forced? For example I am Muslim who was born in United Kingdom - my parents are of Indian Origin. My Grand-Father was in the British Army in India - and came to fight Nazi's - he swapped living in India and UK - but I have mostly lived here - although my dad was in the British Army I am not?

So why do I have any less right than anyone else living here to be an equal citizen and not believe in what I beleive or wear what I like.

I dont like what the Goths or Chavs here wear and find it extremely thretning - becaz we have a rising gun crime situation in UK - but that does not mean I am against them wearing what they wear. I am just against the violence of them youths......
