Reader comment on item: The Limits of Terrorism
in response to reader comment: Dissent: Terrorism has indeed advanced the Islamist cause

Submitted by TruthWFree (United States), Apr 28, 2009 at 12:09

After reading the comments of Stuart Fagin and Ianus, I would have to say that whether the act is terrorism or subversive Islam, the goal is the same, world domination until the religion of allah reigns supreme.

I agree with Fagin that it's a situation of good cop bad cop, but it matter not in the end which of these Islamic tactics and groups win out, the resulting society would be either like the Taliban in Afghanistan or Erdogan's Turkey, neither of which is acceptable to me.

My perception is that a Muslim of any stripe must believe that the Quran is the word of allah, otherwise is he a Muslim? If indeed it is the word of allah (to him), how can he not strive for domination both politically and religiously that his religion is supreme as per the Quran?
