Scared of Extreme Islam

I'm ... scared of Islamic extremists. Not the least that I might be blown up next time I'm airborne, but more so due to the threat they pose to science and technology. Scientists and Engineers labouring through centuries have given us this wonderful world and these maniacs are hell bent on destroying it. I'm shit scared that if these guys succeed, 500 years from now, no one would know what atoms or molecules are. The same goes for Christian extremists, but thankfully they are under check.
