Flipping through history, man

Reader comment on item: The Limits of Terrorism
in response to reader comment: Hey Man you flip through your own history

Read few pages about what the christain did in Balkan

You mean when the US Army and the US Air Force showed up and put their lives on the line to stop the killing of Muslims in the 1990's? Don't worry, I remember. And I remember the lovely thank you we received on September 11.

Read little about what the Christain Hitler did in Germany to the jews

Hitler was not a Christian.

Read a bit about the way the colonizers wiped out the Red Indians in America

Those "Red Indians" were busy wiping each other out before the colonizers arrived. And they lost their ensuing battles with Europeans. Today, in the US, Indians are full citizens and can choose to live in the US or live under their own traditions on their own lands. We all seem to get along fine. We freely confront the injustices commited against Indians in the past. Recently, American Public Television ran a multi-week documentary on that subject. How many documentaries do you suppose Al Jazeera has run on how the Hindu Kush got its name? How about a documentary on Mohammed's slaves?

Read bit about the The Treaty of Westphilia and what led to the 30 years war

So a peace treay is a bad thing?

Read about why the two World War happened.

So Emperor Hirohito was a Christian? Really?

Read why did the US use Nuclear bomb when it knew that Japanese were finished before that

The Japanese, who murdered more people in the single city of Nanjing, China than died at Hiroshima and Nagasaki combined, fought right up to the day the last bomb dropped. After the horrific battle of Okinawa, it was clear an invasion of the Japanese main island would have cost many more live on both sides than did the bombs. Why don't I ever hear any Japanese make this charge? Why are Japan and the USA such good friends?

Read about how the Christain West went around colonizingthe world in the name of civilizing mission.

And how did the Indian subcontinent come to be largely Muslim? A couple of peaceful Arab missionaries showed up one day, and millions converted? Why does the Saudi flag have a sword on it? And how did the Hindu Kush get its name?

Read what are your Christain brothers saying when they drop a huge bombs on innocent villages in Afghanistan. "kill them"

If you're referring to the US armed forces, you don't have to be a Christian to join. You can be of any religion at all, or no religion at all. The US armed forces try very hard to avoid civilian casualties; its very difficult when you're fighting Muslims who always hide behind women and children. It's not the US that's blowing up girls' schools in Afghanistan.

Boss you can fool the world now.

But we can't fool you, you're smart enough to live in the world's largest democracy, even though there's an Islamic paradise right next door.

Best is go home and stay with you kids and let others thier live according to thier customs and Values

If only Muslims would do that.

It is none of your business to impose changes through killing rather then informing...

If only Muslims would think that.
