DON'T DESPAIR

Reader comment on item: Zionism's Bleak Present

Submitted by Bruce Sterling (United States), Oct 15, 2007 at 08:35

Dear Dan,

Don't you dare despair. Things are not as bleak as they seem. The invasion of Iraq has divided the Middle East against itself. Sectarian consciousness is rising throughout the region and overshadowing hatred of Israel. The "Zionist Problem" is being replaced by the Sunni-Shia divide and the war of the Islams for leadership of the Moslem world. Israel will survive and thrive; its democratic way of life owns the future of the region.

Best wishes,

Bruce Sterling
