Zionist responsibilityReader comment on item: Zionism's Bleak Present Submitted by Gene C. Sproul (United States), Oct 13, 2007 at 18:10 My late Jewish friend was so outraged with Sharon & Co.'s pushing for settlements etc. that he was advocating assassination. He saw no justification for Sharon's "visit to the Temple" and his funding of West Bank settlements and the carving up of Palestine to the serious debtriment of the Palistinians. Failure to take any responsibility for the refugees (who were at least prevented from returning to their homes and farms) was also anethma to him. Much of the current disgust with the Israeli regime stems from such actions, and the refusal to at least acknowedge their terrible impact on the native Arabs is not getting you any points, even in Israel.
