Clinton's complicity

Reader comment on item: Why Oslo's Hopes Turned to Dust

Submitted by Lucas J. Meyer (United States), Sep 9, 2003 at 21:53

Let's be frank. And let's be clear. Yes, the Israelis engaged in a stupid and fantastical hope that the Palestinians were normal, and wanted peace. Foolishness personified. But the cravenness of Bill Clinton, and his revolting desire to win a Nobel Peace Prize at all costs (including the blood of expendable Israelis) has given us the situation in which we find ourselves today.

Given his beholdenness to the trial lawyers, I would hope that Israelis who have lost family members would sue our former president in a US court to recover damages. Justice served.
