Peace with TerroristsReader comment on item: Why Oslo's Hopes Turned to Dust Submitted by Arlinda DeAngelis (United States), Sep 11, 2003 at 04:44 The United Nations' designation of the Palestinian homeland as a "Non-Governmental Organization" is a license to commit terrorism legitimately. The Palestinians, other than commiting acts of heinous multiple murders of innocent Israelis and appointing a leader du jour have no other identity. Yet the United Nations and the United States coerce Israel to continually negotiate with a faction that is in existence to kill Israelis and ultimately to annihilate the country. Negotiations are worthwhile only for the Palestinians. It gives them time to regroup, recruit more homicide bombers and resupply their endless need for bombs and death. When we allow Israel to win the war, then there will be peace. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
