People around here (or anywhere else, mind you) would say the Anglo-Saxons did the same to Native Indians. I'm not gonna go into that. These are issues long gone by now. Human being everywhere at one point or another did something that we'd all like to remdy, wouldn't you agree? How are we gonna do that? Are you setting a good example to others by attacking them so viciously?

I personally don't know why some Egyptian Christians converted to Islam while others didn't. And wasn't it the common practice of the time to invade other countries (everywhere, in this region as well as in Europe, for example)?

If you are Christian, I would assume that Jesus talks mainly about love. His love is neither weak nor superficial. His love comes from strength and is unconditional. Where does that figure in your life, I'm curious. Humanity, all of us, have committed barbarism at one time or another. If some of us believe they have reached something better than others, well, great, please try to give a good example so that others will wanna join.

I really respect what you say but I can't go back in time to check if Christians in Egypt were forced to convert or were given the choice and were actually happy to get rid of the Roman empire (which, I hear was just as barbaric as you accuse Muslims).

I am really more interested in finding common ground for us and future generations to cooperate and live together and fulfill God's will.

9/11 has nothing to do with early Islam. My suffering (as a Christian) is multiplied when you fail me, when you fail to see the suffering of us all and focus only on Christians!! Do I need to say more?
