i can't believe that all of you christians are falling for this so-called truth about "radical" vs. "moderate" islam, and islam's inherent propensity for violence. islam is moderation. but it will not roll over and be subdued, not by rocks, bullets or bombs. and the west has too much blood , guts, disease and poverty on it's hands to give anyone an ethics lesson.

ask the african americans how free and democratic the west is. as far as i can tell it is western boots and western technology that are responsible for all of the bloodshed, in iraq, including the sectarian violence. look at the war crimes commited in lebanon by the i.d.f. .how many palestinian christians were killed in the creation of the state of israel? i don't know either, and we probably never will. why is it that in these days of "terror" it seems as though all of the problems seem to be with people who are shaking off the chains of colonialism, and international capital ? why is it that the british bowed down like scared dogs when the founders of the israeli state bombed them out of manditory palestine? not sure, me neither, but they called it terrorism.

nelson mandela spent years over twenty years in jail, for violence against the apartheid regime in south africa, and was released and became president. he too was called a terrorist. george washington was a terrorist, surely if he'd have been captured by the brits he'd have swung from the gallows. blaming islam for terrrorist violence is to forget that as a method of asymetrical warfare it has been used before, and until all people are free, it will be used again. superior firepower can never kill ideology. but ideology has defeated superior firepower more than once.
