They ALREADY HAVE TWO STATES

Reader comment on item: "[Symposium] On the Strip: Where To Go from Gaza?"
in response to reader comment: After Gaza?

Dear Ed

The Palestinians (if that be their name) already have two states. One is the East Bank of the Jordan, resplendent with the waters of the Yarmuk, the capital of Philadelphy (Amman) the wonders of Petra, five times larger than Israel. The only glitch is they need to replace the foreign King with a lawfully elected one of their own. They tried once, the silly US stopped them.

The second is Gaza, a potentially beautiful city on the meditarranean, 400 square kilometers, the size of Hong Kong, which holds 7 million inductrious chinese. Gaza holds half the citizenry of the comparable strip on land, Tel-Aviv and environs.

Why they should be entitled to a third State is beyond me, and beyond 5.5 million Jews who live here. So, please forget the discussions. They are immaterial. Start moving Arabs to their homelands, that is both just and reduces blood-shed
