Reader comment on item: "[Symposium] On the Strip: Where To Go from Gaza?"
in response to reader comment: Its Islam versus Peace

Submitted by James (United Kingdom), Jul 3, 2007 at 11:55

I just wanted to quickly say that I have the deepest sympathy with all the innocent Muslims killed as a result of acts of Terror commited by the West. I'd like to point out that for thousands of years Christians fought amongst themselves for power and wealth, while Islam was still in its infancy. I do not believe in discrimination against one Religion, moreover I believe in the dependency of all Religions on each other, and that the only way this world can ever move forwards would be if we were to be united. We all worship the same God, both Christianity and Islam are derived from Judaism, and Hindu's and Buddhist's have been enlightened enough to tell us this for centuries. We need to communicate this to those people commiting acts of terrorism, not bomb the living hell out of them. Peace and Love
