Where to go?

Reader comment on item: "[Symposium] On the Strip: Where To Go from Gaza?"

Great article again.

When you have tunnel vision - as the administration has - it is hard to give up the altruistic and unrealistic goal of being the ones to bring peace in the middle east. Couple that with the failed Olmert withdrawal plans and their disastrous first phase implementation from Gaza, which by the way did not seem to phase their thoughts as to the efficacy of such a plan, and you have what the general in New Orleans called 'Stuck on Stupid.' Blinded by something other than reality.

Well, Dr Pipes, I appreciate your reading this man's opinion. I am just amazed at how otherwise powerful people can be content with their heads in the sand. I call it HISS (head in sand syndrome).
