What about "white" converts?

There is no real connection between a person being black and being a convert to Islam. Anyone who converts to Islam - irrespective of color, race or previous religion - becomes a threat to the society in which he or she lives.

John Walker Lindh is a striking example -- it does not matter if you were raised in Marin county, San Francisco or Medina.

Islam has the potential to completely transform a person into a barbarian. Yusuf Islam, aka Cat Stevens is another example of a white convert who bayed for Rushdie's blood for defaming Islam. Richard Reid is another example that comes to mind.

Thankfully the cases of whites converting to Islam are rare.

Chechneyans are white Caucasian Muslims and we all got a real glimpse of what they are capable of this week.

India and Pakistan are classic examples of how Islam can redraw international boundaries in blood repeatedly. Today India is fractured into 4 pieces: India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Kashmir with more to come.

Oil politics will continue to ignore these signs till a great catasrophe befalls our beautiful planet.
