Reader comment on item: Terror & Denial [by Hadayat at LAX]

Submitted by khalid rosli (United States), Jan 1, 2006 at 20:07

I've never heard of Christian persecution in any land so far. But what about the Muslims? I mean, we are the ones undergoing the label of being terrorist. We are the ones who are never believed when we say we are innocent.

I've never heard of a time or place when you can actually label one whole religion terrorist. I mean that's too much.

Anyway, I want to show you that Jihad had nothing to do with terror. It means holy struggle, which doesn't have to be through war. It could mean struggling for God's cause to get good grades, to support Islam, or earn money for Islam.

Islam doesn't equal terrorism, terrorism doesn't rqual Islam.

We have Jihad as a belief, to strive for God. Just like how America believes is to strive for our country. Saying Jihad is terrorism means we can say fighting for America is terrorism.
