Another cover-up?

Your article brings to mind the crash of Flight 587. Our government reports that it will be a year before we know what caused the crash, yet it assures us that there is no indication of terrorism!

Metal fatigue was mentioned as the most probable cause, but the experts couldn't find any evidence even with their most sophisticated tests. Why then weren't all Airbuses grounded since they also might have undetectable metal fatigue?

Other questions about this incident:

How can terrorism be ruled out when numerous witnesses reported seeing an explosion in the center of the airplane, above the central fuel tank, exactly where "shoe bomber" Reid sat when he tried to down his plane?

Why weren't surveillance tapes of the stricken plane released to the public?
