How can we ever feel safe ?

Reader comment on item: Terror & Denial [by Hadayat at LAX]

How are Westerners suppose to feel safe from radical islam , when the " moderates " refuse to even speak out against, muslim on muslim violence.

Now in 2008 we have muslims murdering other muslims. In Iraq sunnis and shiites are killing each other, in Pakistan there is political murders , Turkish muslims and Kurdish muslims are bombing each other to death and there is no outrage from the " moderate " muslims.

When they don't even care enough to speak out against this evil that is directed against their own, how can we believe that muslims are the religion of peace.

Actions or inactions are very very telling.

If there are peaceful muslims ( and I believe there are) , then they must marshal their voices.

Edmund Burk said it best " All that is necessary for evil to prosper is for good people to do nothing "
