Terror Denial

Reader comment on item: Terror & Denial [by Hadayat at LAX]

Submitted by Sam Sherman (United States), Jul 9, 2002 at 10:53

Your commentary was apt, and important. Other than "political correctness" (an overworked explanatory category), what do you think accounts for this phenomenon?

On a related subject, I look forward to your comments on the recent appearance of Robert Mueller in connection with a recruiting drive before the American Muslim Council. Other than your columns, or those of Steven Emerson, is there any public discussion of this strange friendly approach to radical Islamist groups?
