Perhaps you would illuminate us further? What exactly did Mustafa Kemal Ataturk DO to back up his sanctimonious claim of concern over the suffering world's body? Please provide examples of his aid to foreign countries -- or for that matter, for his own country. Most important: how exactly did he alleviate the widespread suffering going on in the USA in 1929, when over 1/2 of Americans were living below subsistence level? Do be specific Sultan. Please don't hold back out of any false sense of nationalistic or religious modesty. I'd really like to know how Turkey has come to the aid of others in their time of need. I'd especially be interested in how Mr. Ataturk applied his philosophy to the USA. Do tell.

On another note, sorry about Europe's immigration mess. While I do understand that what goes on in Europe has real implications for our own security, frankly, I'm more immediately concerned about our own mess. We currently have more illegal immigrants entering our country than legal immigrants. It's a complete disgrace.
