Response to Pipes' Response To My Response

Reader comment on item: What If the United States Had Not Invaded Iraq

Submitted by Jonathan Rick (United States), Sep 12, 2005 at 22:50

Dr. Pipes says, "Stephen F. Hayes proves my point in The Connection: How al Qaeda's Collaboration with Saddam Hussein Has Endangered America."

1. Daniel Benjamin, "The Case of the Misunderstood Memo," Slate, December 9, 2003 (http://slate.msn.com/id/2092180/)

2. [Unsigned], "Stephen Hayes: Conservatives' Favorite Authority on the Connection," Media Matters for America, June 30, 2004 (http://mediamatters.org/items/200406300014)

Re "Report's" response to my post, how instructive that not only does completely fail to address any of the evidence I present; he also misrepresent my sources. The groundbreaking New Yorker article by Jeffrey Goldberg is eminently pro-war.

And as for the "IDEOLOGICAL connection between all Islamists in common [sic]," see http://www.jonathanrick.com/911.htm.
