Negative results to the American invasion of Iraq!!

Reader comment on item: What If the United States Had Not Invaded Iraq

Submitted by Tzvi Tamari (Canada), Sep 11, 2005 at 21:09

...The American invasion of Iraq was just another excuse for America-bashing by the Europeans. The French and Germans and others were upset because their dealings with Iraq were being jeopardized, as well as their 'Chamberlinian' attempt to appease their large Muslim populations.
Muslim unrest excaberated? The reverse. Many of those plotting their conquest of the world and its conversion to Islam were put off by America's actions. This "unrest" has been building for a long time before the invasion of Iraq, and was successful in its growing strength by both the naivite and self-interest of the Western world. It was 9/11 that showed the Muslim world what they could do, and encouraged Muslims to be 'restless'.
Also Mr. Pipes, I hope that you realize that "moderate Islam" is an oxymoron! Reading the Koran, Hadith and Suras in Arabic (which I have done) might enlighten you and others further as to the true agenda of Muslims.
A good example of the ignorance of the West is in my own province (Ontario) where the self-interest and stupidity of our Premier D. McGuinty in considering the implentation of Shariah Law as an alternate tribunal for family law, in spite of the protests of Muslim women's organizations across Canada!
