Reader comment on item: What If the United States Had Not Invaded Iraq

Submitted by kim segar (United States), Sep 12, 2005 at 09:56

Yes, I feel it was good to take out Saddam. I am sure they knew they should have taken him out in Bush 1 gulf war, but the Saudi's talked them out of it. Had they hit him and taken him out this time, and not given in world wide to coddle Islam, flat out appease them, and give them our tax dollars which they use for wmd against us; things would be better. When "We the People" say, close the borders , deport the ilegals, stand for Israel, rid our country of PC bull crap, and not to be nation builders as our forefathers set in our government, then this is what we get. Wrong is right, right is wrong, and America is in danger... If we don't stop it NOW and turn it around, we will fall like all other super powers, and it doesn't look to far away. Like our forefathers said, seek and destroy is the way to victory. ...We the People need to stand up and be counted, and make the President realize, we are not a democracy, we are a Republic..and he is to serve us, not take his ideas on the road. We don't agree with him in many things..A great leader serves the people, not the terrorists.
