Eurabia or not?

Reader comment on item: The Swiss Ban on Minarets: A Possible Turning Point
in response to reader comment: lesson to muslim infidels

Submitted by N.T. Ham (United States), Dec 3, 2009 at 15:12

This development once again brings into focus the opposing viewpoints as to the future of Muslims in Europe. On the one hand: Mark Steyn, as per his thesis in America Alone, that Muslims will ultimately overshadow European society and culture as we know it. For a completely opposing viewpoint, see Ralph Peters, "The Eurabia Myth" New York Post, November 26, 2006. (When Europeans feel sufficiently threatened by actual or perceived Muslim takeover they will react with "stunning ferocity").

Ralph Peters may prove to be correct.
