Reader comment on item: The Swiss Ban on Minarets: A Possible Turning Point

Submitted by Willy (South Africa), Nov 30, 2009 at 14:00

This is just symbolic. If the religion is found to be anti-democratic, intolerant, and violent, the best option is to ban it. It will continue to grow with or without minaret.

Have you ever learned about "Love Jihad" that is taking place in India, especially in Kerala, India?

Have you ever heard about the ban on Hindu religious morning prayer from the Temples in Kerala where there is a muslim majority?

Why doesn't your organisation and also Jihad Watch highlight these issues as well? This is a global issue. We must all join together. It should not be an issue of only Europeans and Americans.
