Reader comment on item: Louis Farrakhan Is Not a Muslim

Submitted by Arkyopterix (United Kingdom), Apr 29, 2007 at 18:34

What Farrakhan preaches is no better than what he condemns white people for. If he was to have his way, the world would revert back to the way it was in the era of black oppression - instead with white people in their place. Sure, our ancestors have made mistakes in the past, but we regret and resent their actions now more than ever before. But can Farrakhan accept an apology? No. Because he assumes that in 200 years, white people have not changed.

Well, I'm a quarter African, and I feel intense rage that he should promote such racial segregation. This is the 21st century, and no man, black or white, should be able to speak such words of hatred and base fascism. I'm deeply sad that members of the African-American community support this man, in the same way that I am horrified by neo-nazism taking place around the world. Live and let die, forgive and forget, ashes to ashes, and so forth.

Let's not forget that his morals are agsinst the very fundamentals of Islam too. Not only has Farrakhan deserted the notions of peace, he has also neglected to adhere to any real religious value. Hearing the story of Dr. Yacub and his mad experiments that created the white man was just about the craziest thing I've ever heard, and it is CERTAINLY not Islamic in any way shape or form.

/rant over.
