in response to reader comment: Saudi Arabia

it's quite disturbing how one would confuse arabs and muslims. the prophet Muhammad abolished slave trade therefore any muslim who was involved in slave trade in africa simply wasn't keeping within islamic laws. and to say that arabs played a bigger role in slave trade is misleading esp concerning the blacks, even arabs were enslaved by fellow arabs. the point is it was a culture during the ignorant era (jahilliya period) but the white man commercialised it.

It's also wise to see that in america after abolishement of slave trade nothing much changed blacks are still living in poor conditions than the whites but in middle east (arab peninsula alleged founders of slave trade) the slums are reserved for the poor not only for the blacks unlke in europe and america. And if anybody thinks otherwise they should prove it i've nothing to prove on my side take a look at our brothers in brooklyn in america.
