Lactantius i am very surprised you did not mention BURY THE CHAINS in your long list of books. Please do get it and read it. Back to the topic, slave existed long before ISLAM (the only true religion). and then slavery was an oppression tool. The prophet had slaves who were arabs e.g Zaid BinHarith , Anas Bin Malik etc this shows that slavery was nota racism tool as used by the WHITES. Remember Islam also emphasizes the good treatment of slaves, i wonder why you did not see this verse, but it's ok, nobody expects you to.

Read (2:177) and surah BALAD verse 13 which emphasises that they highest form of iman to guarantee one eternal peace in the hereafter i the freeing of slaves.

NB:AS MUCH AS THERE IS PROOF IN THE QURAN OF LEGITIMISING SLAVERY ONE MUST KNOW THAT 1400 YEARS AGO SLAVERY WAS ALRIGHT ND NOT ONLY MUSLIMS BUT THE WHOLE WORLD.

It is also important to know slavery was also a form of trade in africa and ARABS not necessarily muslims had very good trade relations in africa but remember no arab country colonised or robbed africans anything unike the whites.

finally where in the bible does jesus say worship him and did he ever build a church.

Honestly, you are well versed with islam, but unfortunately you are blinded by hate not to see the inner meaning of any verse in the quran. You are translating the quran from a 21st century perception. I would advise anyone like you to not only spread their ignorance on the web with irrelevant and wrongly percieved verses of quran and hadith, but to also seek answers from mullahs or sheiks coz my knowledge does not allow me to argue any more.

Now allow me to finish with a question.WHEN JESUS WAS ABOUT TO BE CRUCIFIED HE SAID A PRAYER (god is praying what a scene) HE PROBABLY ASK GOD (ALLAH the only GOD worthy of worship) TO SAVE HIM OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT (i don't have time to read the bible) BUT HE DIED ON THE CROSS FOR YOUR SINS (i wonder whether you were sad coz of his death or happy coz of your redemption) BUT HERE IS THE QUESTION - WHY WAS JESUS' PRAYER NOT ANSWERED??
