Islam and Slavery

"black people's religion should be islam:the only religion that clearlly stayed away from slavery unlike christianity that took advantage of slavery"

Bayla, please educate yourself on Islam in Africa. Arabs raided African villages and slaughtered the men and elderly, while stealing the children and women, marching them across the Sahara desert to slave markets in North Africa. It was brutal and cruel. They preferred to castrate black boys because they were worth more money, and there was a 90% death rate for the procedure. Slavery is sacralized in the Koran. Please educate yourself and make an informed choice.

A good book on the subject: 'Islam's Black Slaves: the Other Diaspora' by Ron Segal.
