Is Farakhan a Muslim?Reader comment on item: Louis Farrakhan Is Not a Muslim Submitted by Zayid Salaam (United States), Apr 30, 2008 at 00:15 Farakhan is, in my opinion, muslim. He has taken the Shadah (declaration). He believes in Allah and the Last prophet (Muhammad). Yes, we know all too well the mentioning of Master Fard Muhammad, but that's all symbolic teaching that has its place in history. If people chose to be stuck on stupid then they may do so on their own volition, but this man Farakhan is highly intelligent and brings to the table what is often hidden for fear of attack by the powers that be. Many people are calling this man anti-semitic when he is telling in plain english that he is not. Any time you expose curruption on a mass scale and point out the culprit, there is going to be some after-math, beause no one wants to take the heat. I love Farakhan. This man is passionate about his people and considers others essential to the circle of humanity. What's wrong about that? When someone points a finger at Farakhan they seem to always not expound themselves in a way that would expose what they may perceive as deplorable. It is mostly white people that is offended by Farakhan. Why is that? I'll tell you why! Because some white people feels that he is reciprocating the ignorance of their forefathers by teaching what they perceive as hate. This is so untrue to say the least. The intent is always to uplift the black family. To imbed in them a pride that is not faltered by white domination. I think this healthy and has its place of relevance in the frame-work of inner peace and harmony. I think we should try to listen to the words of Farakhan in the proper context. The reward would be great. Farakhan is a true champion. Yes, he has some flaws, but don't we all!!!! The sunnis does. The shiites does. The ahmadiyyah does. Who doesn't?
