your article is good, but you are writing from a non-muslim point of view...in that view of yours, mr farrakhan is not a true muslim...but have you ever asked what is a true muslim?

african or black just as every other race is free to have their religion or give religions an african interpretation and adoption. the jewish has judaism, the indian have hinduism, the chines have buddhism and the arabs islam...which one is of africans?

the roman empire adopted christianity from the middleast and reinterpreted it in the european psychology...even african too adopted chrisrtianity from europeans and created some afro-christian churches we see all over african like the CELESTIAL CHURCH OF CHRIST CCC etc...so what is wrong if some african americans/black adopts islam and gives it an african interpretation?

the basic tenets of islam is the TOTAL SUBMISSION TO THE WILL OF GOD. and as you can see from this point of view, even christians who submit totally to the will of God are MUSLIMS in the islamic philosophy...furtherly is that ALLAH is one and his last prophet is mohammed. SO all devout judaist and christians who believe in one God and submit totally to his wills are all muslims. You might even be a muslim!!! it does not take you to be an alqaida member before you become a muslim...the pope is a muslim in islam.

i was there in tripoli libya in the year 1999 when the nation of islam visited qathafi...farakkhan even though not a saint was an impressive man....both malcom x and wallace muhammad are all muslims...its just like having the catholics,protestants and lutherians in the christian religion.

I am a Christian but will be at disposal to discuss this issue to a logical end.....because issues as this should unite us and not divide us when we are all saying the same thing and going the same place
