Did you try to check that background that why it is allowed in Islam? did you ever tried to check why anything is allowed or disallowed in any religion before commenting. Secondly torah is a word of Allah, bible is a word of God, every Muslim says that and has to believe that they are words of God.

I advise you to first check why something is allowed in Islam and why it is not allowed before making any comments.

BTW Muhammad(PBUH) did not ignore the the rest, Quran is Allah's word and not Muhammad's (PBHU) so could not chose what to put and what not to put.
