Reader comment on item: How to End Terrorism:
in response to reader comment: 50 out of less than 50? that's strange...

"Verify facts. Please state country and where you found those statistics... Still, that's a bit strange cause even wiki states that "Muslims are the majority in 52 nations", and not every one of those nations are ruled by Islam and a lot of them are secularists where as the other lot are of islamic majority but only in the 60th percentage hence not ruled by Islam. Here's where you can find it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islamic_world. Quite simple. You really shouldn't fabricate facts."

and you shouldn't lie like you muslims always do.

the secularism in islam doesn't exists. There are some sharia state and some police states ruled by the army.

Let's take turkey. Ruled by army but with muslims insurgence. It is ok to practice honor killing on females defaming the family. But since they put a mild punishment for the offenders, the family now forces the girl to suicide, so they won't get guilty.

BATMAN, Turkey (July 16) -- For Derya, a waiflike girl of 17, the order to kill herself came from an uncle and was delivered in a text message to her cellphone. "You have blackened our name," it read. "Kill yourself and clean our shame or we will kill you first."

Let's take the countries of maghreb, that are so called "modern" just to be a turistic place while in fact they are not modern at all

Regardless of these developments, the Personal Status Law remains largely discriminatory, authorizing polygamy and yielding most of the power to the husband in case of divorce.

Egypt is a very conservative society, obsessed with the "integrity of the family" and threatened by Western values.

While a man may divorce his wife simply by telling her three times, "I repudiate you," women may divorce only through court proceedings where it often takes several years to be granted a divorce.

In the meantime, there is nothing stopping their husbands from remarrying in a polygamous union.

Most rural women take gender-related disadvantages for granted, as they have been told from birth that their only role in life is to marry and have children. Girls' education is seen as a luxury. Honor killings—a man killing a female member of his family for an alleged breach of her chastity—are not uncommon, and female genital mutilation (FGM) is rampant.

Is that enough EVIDENCE for you...?

"While I can presume there are millions of muslims wanting to enjoy the freedom of the west (again, laughable! You really do presume yourself so highly!), "

oh, my bad I forgot, muslims don't know what to do with freedom...

"Perhaps you could tell that to Victoria and David Beckham, they just bought a villa in Dubai, It's the Palm Island Villa's. But that's just celebrities. "

yes, I cannot wait to see victoria beckam in a frenzy to buy a burqa, maybe a Dolce & Gabbana burqa

"Perhaps you should check out the sensus of Dubai's foreigners/ immigration, they had to ban some westerners and asians from coming in "

Behind the glitzy world of Dubai are some 500,000 foreign workers who human rights groups say live in virtual enslavement.

Sarah Leah: You are working in a system where you are not really free to leave your job. You actually need employers' consent to change jobs. You're working in a system where your passport is withheld. And really, if you displease your employer, you are going to find yourself on a plane right back to Sri Lanka or Bangladesh or India. Most of the workers live in labor camps an hour outside the city in the desert, in a place called Sonapaur, which means city of gold. There's little gold to be found here. The men putting up the world's finest buildings live six to eight, sometimes 12, to a room.

"Plus it's quite nice being a woman in Dubai, you get first place for everything, your queue is always before the men and even a wolf whistle is never heard since the police are very vigilant when it comes to sexual harrassment in any form no matter how low, plus i guess the people there just don't care for debase things like that. but you don't know things like that do you? You only know Islam from the media. I'm sorry I forgot about that."

why should i come to dubai? I live in the most beautiful country of the world, 70% of art and culture are in my land, in muslim lands there is only poverty, sand and moral misery.

Dubai is a fun-park for rich and stupid westerners. What do I care about being the first in a queue? That's just a facade. What do I care to be first of a queue of filthy muslims that believe in a book that says that the woman have half a brain of a man?...
