The whole caucasus and turkey is said to be sufi, this didn't prevent chechnia from establishing full time sharia and the other muslim populated country (azeirbajan, kyrgistan, all the -stans of the former USSR) to be as much as muslim as anybody else.

A muslim is always a muslim, dont' split the hair. They have the same goal.
