Reader comment on item: How to End Terrorism:
in response to reader comment: The Silent Majority

Pro-Israeli Democrat,

You're dreaming if you think the so-called "moderate" Muslims will ever try to rehabilitate their death cult. We had an event here in America back in April of 2004. The American Islamic Forum for Democracy set up an anti-terror rally in Phoenix, AZ in order to give the so-called "moderate Muslims" a chance to speak out against terrorism. There are an estimates 50,000 practicing Muslims in the Phoenix AZ area. This event was widely publicized not only in leading newspapers, but also at mosques and various Muslim community centers, etc.

The Arizona Republic newspaper said there were only 250 people who attended. Even if every one of them was a Muslim, that would be one-half of one percent of all Muslims in the area attending. However, most of the attendees were liberal Americans who were there to protest racial profiling and spout their liberal nonsense. The number of Muslims who attended was estimated to be between 30 and 100. That's a tiny fraction of a single percent of Muslims in the area.

In other words, the so-called moderate Muslims here in America couldn't be bothered to attend. But they'll whine and cry to the press that they're being discriminated against when we profile them or give them suspicious looks. What do they expect?

Keep in mind, we are talking about a rally here in America, not a rally in Beirut or Damascus. There was police presence for protection. It was organized by a prominent Muslim and a Muslim organization. It was designed to help show Americans that Muslims are indeed moderate and that they do not support terror, and to help prevent anti-Muslim sentiment.

What was their excuse? In an area with tens of thousands of Muslims, how is it that virtually none of them showed up to protest Islamic terror and help promote a peaceful existence?

I'll tell you why...because Muslims are not interested in peace. They want everyone to bow down to their religion. What other religion insists on transplanting itself in other countries as a minority religion and demands special concessions, special treatments, special tolerances, and the ability to ignore local law? Only Islam.

Islam is a violent tribal religion designed by a violent tribal chieftain to unite a violent tribal people. It has no place in civilized society and it proves every day that it is a death cult that cannot peacefully coexist with others.
