Baker's Other Forgotten Major FailureReader comment on item: James Baker's Terrible Iraq Report Submitted by Douglas Boggs (United States), Dec 13, 2006 at 21:52 James Baker, as President Reagan's Secretary of the Treasury, was guilty of the horrendous crime against the wealth of the American people of systematically working to devalue the dollar against the world's currencies, an impeachable offense, in my opinion. He exhibited a near-treasonous incompetence at Treasury. How he gets selected for any responsible governmental position escapes me.
