No Nothing Iraq Study Report

I am boggled by the lucidity of your analysis and the stupidity of the recent Iraq Study Group Report. So, I have a simple question: is anyone in the government listening to you Dr. Pipes? Are you having any impact on the President while he gets bad, old or useless advice? Will the US otherwise just pull out of Iraq because they are tired of having troops there and being embarrassed by their own press?

I expect the Canadian position will change if the government falls and I can only assume our support of Afghanistan in nation building will then end. Does not seem to me that politicians have any heart for anything more than a sound byte of info and reacte poorly to bad press. What do you suggest when the press are mostly ill informed and so partisan that half truths and misinformation get more coverage than facts?
