Lincoln (Canada), Dec 13, 2006 at 05:47 This is hardly the first commission that frankly saw way too much invested, and such meager results were the product. As long as cluelessness is the rule regarding the vision of those used to nation-states, when they gaze upon societies that do not reflect nation-states - the effort was doomed from the start. I suspect that this report will join the list of embarrasments and be shuffled off to gather dust on the book shelf - a la the healthcare report that Hillary headed roughly 13 years ago. If not, then the column by David Brooks in the December 10 New York Times is that much closer to coming to pass.
