In 1796, U.S. Vowed Friendliness With IslamReader comment on item: In 1796, U.S. Vowed Friendliness With Islam Submitted by Amin kobeissy (Lebanon), Nov 7, 2006 at 18:22 Dear Mr. pipes, 1st let's defined the word " terrorism" 2nd As i read your article, i've noticed that you came into several "..mistakes" You were right when you said that U.S. isn't on a war against Islam, but you have fogotten that the U.S. goverment led by president George w. Bush is on war against islam, why? As we read in the newspapers and what we have seen on T.V that president George w. Bush considers every movement against him is "Terrorism", that in coincidence all the islamic movements are against him. the qaeda began the war and bla bla bla........, but there would be no qaeda if the U.S. goverment didn't equip Osama bin laden first against the soviets. terrorism is a thing that your goverment made happen. thank you for your understanding.
