DID IT CHANGE US ? 9/11 AND FIVE YEARS LATERReader comment on item: A Nike e o 11 de Setembro Submitted by V. RAJAGOPALAN (India), Sep 13, 2006 at 04:29 At least in India nothing has changed. The Hindus have been the worst sufferers under the sword of Islam. But still they are living as intellectual fossils. 9/11 has neither sent shock waves nor have been the subsequent attacks on Indian installations here. India has produced its own version of Daniel Pipes in Mr. Advani. Even he recently disappointed the Hindus by praising Jinnah (the founder of Pakistan). It is high time the Hindus joined forces with the rest of the civilised world in fighting terrorism seriously. So much at least can be optimistically expected as a delayed aftermath of 9/11 for India.
