You're letter clearly reflects that you have no idea as to what is this religion of Islam and what are the words, ideas, instructions and guidelines in the Qur'an. Had you read the Qur'an, you would not be asking questions like, "How could faith in something so holy and pure degenerate into such unholy acts"?

Please read this line carefully: The Muslims who are carrying out these atrocious acts are doing so in direct obedience to the Qur'an. Do you get it? In direct obedience to the Qur'an and the preaching of the Imams. Do you really think that the terrorists believe that an instant after death they will be facing hell fire, or that they will remain dead until some resurrection at which time they will receive their reward? Nonsense, they believe that the next minute after death they will be in paradise surrounded by the most beautiful virgins imaginable, all of them there for one purpose only and that is to please the martyrs.

Read the Qur'an, 114 suras, 6,246 ayas and you will understand. You can purchase a Qur'an for less than 10 dollars and it will be worth every penny, for then you will understand.
