Conservatives blunt & direct? Are you kidding?

I've yet to hear a blunt & direct appraisal of our relationship with the muslim world and its angry young men, namely: we own the oil under your feet and there's nothing you can do about it.

Let's face it, should (when) we develop a new form of energy (say nuclear) that renders oil as obsolete for our military (as oil did to coal, or coal to wind) THEN you'll start seeing some blunt & direct talk. Until then, we're stuck in this revolting dance where we have to broadly praise their religous beliefs while trying to define the nutjobs while they sell us their oil while impotently wanting to stab us in the back. Get our national defense's motive power out of the middle east and watch our language suddenly become clear.
