The Muslim claim to Jerusalem is a complete and total fabrication. After the War with the Roman Empire in 70 AD, and the destruction of the temple, the area was run by the Roman Empire and was renamed, Palestine.
Why the Muslims in Israel want to be called Palestinians after the Roman name is beyond me. With the creation of Islam, the Muslims went on a rampage to spread their faith in the military style of indoctrination and took the Temple Mount as the Roman Empire was falling. Jerusalem was just another conquered state after Spain and Turkey.

The move to make Jerusalem sacred to Muslims is political in nature and a symptom of anti-Semitic rhetoric to inspire hatred of the Jewish people.
The move to create a Palestinian state is just the beginning of the destruction of Israel, nothing less, nothing more.
Islam is not a faith of peace, but of war relenting war.
Muslims are the main threat to peace and security and threatens to carry their unrelenting war to mostly peaceful democracies. Hamas is a terrorist organization and should be treated as such. The Palestinians celebrate the suicide bombers as Muslim saints that get glory from murdering Jews. The Palestinians teach their children hatred of the Jewish people in their media and in their schools. The Muslims were in league with Nazi Germany from the beginning. The Muslim claims to Jerusalem is just the usurpation of the valid Jewish claim to the city mandated by god himself.
