That commandment was directed to the JEWS:
005.032 YUSUFALI: On that account: We ordained for the Children of Israel that if any one slew a person - unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people.

"And believe it or not, according to its Arabic grammar perspective, Christians and Jews are "Muslims" too since they worship the same God"

Let's take a look at how tolerant islam is to the "other muslims" i.e. Jews and Christians:

002.191 And slay them wherever ye catch them 002.193 And fight them on until there is no more Tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in Allah

004.171 O People of the Book! Commit no excesses in your religion: Nor say of Allah aught but the truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) a messenger of Allah, and His Word, which He bestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceeding from Him: so believe in Allah and His messengers. Say not "Trinity" : desist: it will be better for you

005.051 O ye who believe! take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors: They are but friends and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them. Verily Allah guideth not a people unjust.
